A business day is any day from Monday to Friday that is not a public holiday. Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) are always excluded. When you select a country, public holidays for that country are also excluded.
There are typically 260 to 262 business days in a calendar year (52 weeks × 5 weekdays, minus approximately 10 public holidays). This varies by country and year.
By default, the calculator counts the difference between dates — it does not count the start date as a business day. For example, the business days between Monday and the following Monday would be 5 business days (Mon–Fri), not 6.
